About Me

Otherwise known as the page where I fail to communicate who I am and what the purpose of this blog is.

Kelsey Gulick Style Me Gone

So, this is me. Though you’ve probably already figured that out by now. (Yes, I’m a creator of the most amazing taglines to describe myself ever)

So, let’s talk about me

I’m Kelsey Gulick. I’m 17 years old and am about to begin my fourth semester in this thing called college. While I totally suck at doing things like describe myself, my friends know me as a hipster (or something). Because I had nowhere to put all of this energy that was apparently going into the hipsterdom of wearing monochrome attire that didn’t fit the trends for my age, obsessing over unknown bands and artists, and *coughs* drinking tea in a house of coffee addicts, I decided to put the energy into the blogging idea that had been floating around in my head for a few years.

Though my friends call me a hipster, I’ve never really identified with the word. Different has always been more what I’ve felt. The hipster label, to me, feels like something that is more of a style and I don’t feel like I fully belong to that style. Maybe I like tea, indie music, and little coffee shops, but I was never really a beany person. Sorry.

Style Me Gone is my outlet for expressing my differences. My outfits are not always what is trending, my music taste is kind of all over the place, and tea? I just like tea and enjoy finding people who enjoy it just as much as I do.

Don’t be afraid to accept who you are. Style is more than just a trend–it’s taste.
